Stepmania is a powerful simulator of the legendary Dance Dance Revolution, in a multiplatform version that is able to bring to your computer all the intensity of the electronic dance of the Konami's dance machine.

It's a video game inspired by DDR that preserves a lot of the specific terminology of this game, so during the translation process I had to stick to the terms already known by the players of the original game.

The interface of the game and its different versions for PC Linux and Mac allowed me a great versatility and freedom to translate the textual elements of the user interface and ingame elements.

It was a short but quite fun project to work with, in which it was important to keep the IDs, tags and placeholders and develop a translation memory that would be useful for future updates of the game.
